Prices and availability of products and services are subject to change without notice. Methods of Payment and Pricing
Prices include the merchandise with any specified options and shipping within the continental United States unless otherwise stated. The price does not include cemetery setting fees or charges, funeral home charges, sales taxes, rush charges, weekend deliveries, and extra cost options, unless otherwise stated. All orders must be accompanied by payment at the time of the sale. Credit Card is the most common and preferred method for payment. We accept most major credit cards. There is no additional charge for using a credit card. Please be sure to provide correct information when asked. Incorrect information may lead to delays in processing your order.
Money orders, cashiers checks or any other type of check will be accepted by us. Orders will be processed upon receipt of money orders or cashiers checks. Any other type of check requires up to 10 working days after receipt of check for clearance of funds. Once the check has cleared the order will be processed promptly. We will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks.

Risk of Loss
All items purchased from Ashanti Caskets Company are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you and the shipping carrier, upon our delivery to the carrier.

Returns
If you receive a damaged item you must notify Ashanti Caskets Company of the incident within 72 hours. Failure to follow our return policy may result in delays or additional shipping charges to be incurred by the customer.


Product Descriptions
Some products are made from metal or wood including but not limited to caskets made from metal, wood, bronze, copper, and other products containing or incorporating the use of natural metals or wood material. The purchaser acknowledges that metal and wood are natural materials with variations in color and other characteristics and agrees to accept such natural variations. Ashanti Caskets Company Web site attempts to display product images shown on the site as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that the color you see matches the product color, as the display of the color depends, in part, upon the monitor you are using. Ashanti Caskets Company and associates makes every attempt to represent the merchandise displayed as true to form as possible if there are any question or concerns about features, colors and the like call us: If you should received merchandise that was not what you ordered or the features are different than what is represented; we will replace the item at no additional shipment cost and simply return the other unused product.

Sales/Shipping/Cancellation Policy
All casket prices include our standard shipping at no extra cost. However additional charges apply for next-day, same-day, and Saturday delivery under certain circumstances.

  • Same-day shipping apply to the specifically listed Hampton Roads Virginia cities of Norfolk, VA, Virginia Beach, VA, Chesapeake, VA, Portsmouth VA, Suffolk, VA, Newport News, VA and Hampton, VA. Same-day shipping for the above stated areas can be processed 24/7.
  • Orders for next-day shipping must be processed by 12:00 noon Monday through Friday to insure prompt delivery.
  • All products are shipped within 24 - 48 hours of confirmation, subject to availability.
  • Standard shipping expected delivery time is 1-2 normal business days.
  • Merchandise that requires customization cannot be rushed (Head Panel's etc.).
  • Ashanti Caskets Company will not accept for return any product that appears to be used, soiled, or in other than original shipping condition.
  • If any casket order or service is canceled after casket is delivered you will be subject to a 35% restocking fee plus actual forwarding and return shipping charges when applicable.
  • Ashanti Caskets Company will confirm all orders within 24 hours of verification of payment. In most cases, merchandise will be shipped directly from an Ashanti Caskets Company warehouse location. Orders will be shipped as described below subject to manufacturers warehouse stock. In the event any product is not immediately available, We will notify you within 24 hours.
  • Standard Shipping Fees - Free / Included (orders placed before 12pm. Mon-Friday. delivered next day)
  • Special Time Scheduled Delivery Requests - $65.
  • Remote Rural Deliveries - (additional delivery fees may apply)
  • Same Day Rush - $150-$250 (may apply to deliveries not included in the same-day shipping areas listed above)
  • Next Day Rush - $65 (orders placed between 12pm and 5pm for next day)
  • Saturday/Holiday - $65


Payment Methods
Ashanti Caskets Company accepts the following major credit cards, Visa, Master Card and American Express and Discover. Your credit card will be billed upon purchase.

Ashanti Caskets Company accepts money orders, cashiers checks and personal checks in U.S. dollars only. Orders are processed upon receipt of money orders and cashiers checks. For personal checks, please allow up to 10 business days for clearance of funds before the order is processed. A fee of $25.00 will be charged on all returned checks. Sales Tax
Sales tax will be assessed based upon the sales tax for the city/state a casket is delivered, or if unavailable locally, where the casket is delivered from.
